Hi. I'm Emily. Nice to meet you! I like MPR, coffee, and rocking out {to everything from showtunes to NIN}. And I'm honored you've stopped by.
I've always had an affinity for photography. Perhaps I inherited from my grandfather, perhaps it is the way that the strap feels wrapped around my wrist with camera in hand, perhaps it is the symphony of color, focus, balance and creativity.
Whatever it is, I'm glad it courses through my veins.
It brings me joy to document the moments of life while maintaining a high degree of artistry and creativity.
I believe that photography is an art.
I believe that everyone should have art in their hearts and on their walls.
I believe that details make moments and moments make up life.
I believe LIFE is art.

What is the initial investment for weddings?
*A $350 retainer is due at the signing of your contract. This reserves your date and is deducted from the final total.
When is final payment due?
*Final payment is due 30 days before your contracted date.
Who do we make checks out to?
*Checks can be made payable to "emme photo design".
Do you offer installment plans?
*YES! Sometimes it's hard to come up with a large chunk of change all at once. The deposit remains the same, but as long as full balance is paid 30 days prior to your event, we can plan a payment schedule.
When do we book our wedding with you?
*Once you know your wedding date and location! Not only is it off of your To-Do list, the chances of your date being available are much better.
When do couples have their engagement sessions?
*Most couples schedule their engagement sessions 6 months before the wedding. Short notice sessions are also available.
Why choose a package over A La Carte?
*Packages include prints, unlimited wedding day coverage, retouching, and custom albums. More bang for your buck!
I don't think I want unlimited wedding day coverage. What is the hourly rate for weddings?
*Hourly wedding rates are $175/hr and include digital negatives only. All prints will be at a la carte rates.
Are destination weddings available?
*YES! Ask for details.
